LMSPA Sheep Matters: Farm to Community Auction

PRE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

Pre-registration is mandatory.  There will be a 10 fleece  maximum allowed per producer. Please see Competition and Sale guidelines below for all show and sale rules.

Pre-registering gives the committee a general number of how many fleece to expect on judging day and if we will require one or two days for judging. We do understand the fleece numbers you pre-register with may not be the actual numbers of fleece you bring to final registration.

To enter your skirted & bagged fleece: after pre registering

• Members and non members are welcome.
• Please be aware that LMSPA does collect a commission on the final sale price: for Members 10%, and for non-Members 20%.
  • The Fleece Entry Form, two copies of which, filled in with your fleece information, must be included in the bag with each fleece.
    This form is a letter sized sheet with both copies on it, one pair across the top and one pair across the bottom:  please print it out and fill in your information ready for the drop off. These forms are available at the monthly general meetings & at the drop off locations, but you will probably find it easier to fill out and insert ahead of time, as table space isn’t available at the drop offs.
• Try to attend the special workshop held on skirting your fleeces:  there you will also be able to fill out entry forms to put with your fleeces. These workshops are announced ahead of time each year on our website and social media pages.

2026 FLEECE DROP OFF LOCATION DATES FOR JUDGING:

• Langley drop-off – May 30th through June 5th.
• Directions to either of these can be emailed to entrants who request them via email to Fleecesale@lmspa.ca before May 29th.

Fleeces will not be accepted on Judging Day OR after 8:00 pm on the night before judging, and drop-in visitors are not permitted on judging days due to the volume of fleeces and the limited time for which we will have the judge available to us.
