Benefits and terms of Membership

• monthly meetings (a regular forum to discuss sheep husbandry and up-to-date industry information, support network for beginners)
• monthly newsletters
• field trips to farms and special workshops
• education program
• farm listing in an online LMSPA Directory and/or in our print directory (your preferences as indicated on your enrollment form) 
• sell your fleece(s) in our annual summer fleece sale.

New memberships are accepted throughout the year. Memberships are also affordable:

• Basic at $40.00 / year (1 vote), gives 1 person all member benefits
• Family at $60.00 / year (2 votes)  A farm unit at the same address and gives all benefits of basic membership but allowing 2 family members to vote.
• Associate at $30.00 / year (no vote) reserved for vendors and businesses to stay connected but have no vote in the decisions of the association.

 
 Membership renewals are due once per year at the Annual General Meeting held in October, by e-mail and e-transfer to treasurer@lmspa.ca OR by postal mail with cheque (payable to: “Lower Mainland Sheep Producers Association (LMSPA)”), arriving by 31 October each year.  We will also accept cash at a member meeting or at our annual fleece sale in July (please do NOT mail cash).

This form can be saved to your computer, filled out, signed, and then emailed, printed and mailed, or dropped off at a meeting.  Your completed membership form and your payment must arrive within 5 business days of each other – we cannot accept your e-transfer or activate your membership record unless we have both in hand.
